    THE BIGGER PICTURE

In pouring rain at Red Bull Arena in March, without Messi available, the Herons suffered the ultimate humiliation. Now, though, they're hoping things end differently.

In a battle between two Eastern Conference heavyweights, the No. 1 Herons will use home field advantage this time agains the third-placed Red Bulls to try and secure a win.

  • WHAT MARTINO SAID

"Against NY Red Bull it was the weakest match of the last year, we expect an equally intense team. Sergio Busquets is now available," he told reporters.

"Messi is free to move and play in any position on the pitch, he is the best footballer in the world and a great goalscorer. We can’t limit his movement. Now we are not playing much and he has time to recover from the physical demands."
